About TECH-UP

TECH-UP Rural-Digital Empowerment NPC is a registered South African Non-Profit Company founded to bridge the digital and socioeconomic divide in rural communities.
We operate at the intersection of education, 4IR technology and community development. We work directly with high school learners, pre-matric students, unemployed youth and rural institutions across Maologane, Witrandjies, Tlhatlhaganye and broader rural areas.
Our mission is to ensure that a student’s geographic location never limits their academic potential, technical capability or economic future.

Missed university and TVET admission deadlines, limited guidance on bursary applications such as NSFAS and corporate schemes, and difficulty digitising required documents.
The 4IR Skills Gap
Limited exposure to practical digital literacy, software tools, coding fundamentals and the technical problem solving the modern economy expects.

Tertiary Intake & Academic Admissions Support
Structured intake programmes that help matriculants and pre-matric youth navigate higher education admissions.

- End-to-end online submissions for universities, TVET colleges and bursaries.

TECH-UP's Tertiary Intake helps collect the essential information needed to understand an applicant's current academic position, preferred institutions and qualification interests.
You'll complete the intake securely through TECH-UP's current Tally intake form.

Prepare Before You Begin
Applicants should preferably have the following documents available before starting the TECH-UP Tertiary Intake.
Having the correct documents ready can make the intake process easier and faster.
- Certified applicant ID or passport copy
- Latest statement of results or Matric certificate
- Proof of residential address
- Next-of-kin / guardian ID copy
The current TECH-UP intake accepts supporting document uploads with a maximum file size of 10 MB per relevant upload field.
